There’s LED. And there’s LED-HQ

Maximum quality, minimum size

The instruments of the HEINE Mini 3000 Series are a successful combination of the highest quality and the convenience of a compact design. Comfortable operation in any examination situation is guaranteed with the ergonomic and compact design of the Mini 3000 otoscope and light pen.

There’s LED. And there’s LEDHQ

Excellent lighting is the most important thing in a medical inspection and in making the correct diagnosis. The LED-HQ developed by Heine has the unique characteristic of an exceptionally high color rendering index for almost exact color reproduction. The use of LED is also very sustainable and environmentally friendly because you no longer need to replace halogen lamps.

Which variant suits you best?

Do you prefer the best diagnosis and efficiency? Then choose the F.O. LEDHQ otoscoop. This instrument uses Fiber Optic for perfect vision and is equipped with a LEDHQ lamp, which ensures a consistent bright white light output. LED lighting also has a very long lifespan and is energy efficient, making this otoscope low maintenance.

The F.O. XHL variant features a bright xenon halogen lamp. The main difference with the LEDHQ variant is that this lamp needs to be replaced regularly, which means that your otoscope requires more frequent maintenance.

The last variant in the BB Hearing assortment is the Mini 3000 Direct XHL. This variant also uses a xenon halogen lamp. The difference with the F.O. XHL otoscope is the way of light display.

The image below shows the difference in display between the different otoscopes in the Mini 3000 series. In the Direct XHL otoscope, the light is located in the head of the instrument, which obstructs some of the view. The other two variants use Fiber Optic (F.O.) and send the light into the ear through a fiberglass element. This ensures a perfect view into the ear.
