Your customer wants convenience and no hassle. It's really that simple. If we link that to an important topic like cleaning and maintenance of hearing aids, it speaks for itself. For example, if the volume control of the hearing aid suddenly stops working, the customer is standing in your store. Of course you will assist him/her with all your expertise, but wouldn't it be much better if your customer would take the credo: "to govern is to foresee"?

Well... we can help the client with that.

And, ultimately, we help you with that too.

Therefore, important advice topics for a good conversation in the store: cleaning and maintenance of hearing aids.

For example, does your client know that there are many external factors that affect the functioning of hearing aids. Consider the changing weather conditions such as rain, snow and fog. Moisture and condensation are also commonplace in our fickle little country. In fact... in 75% of cases, moisture is the main cause of malfunctions.

Make up, hairspray, perfume and creams... you name it! An irritation or infection in the ear canal occurs before the client realizes it.

Well... what can you tell your client?

We have listed 5 topics of conversation

  1. Always tell them that the purpose of maintenance and cleaning is to prevent or remove bacteria and mold. After all, people don't like bacteria and mold. It goes without saying that you know which products to recommend for that purpose!
  2. Explain that a hearing aid earpiece really should be cleaned at least once a week. Maybe even more often, but that depends on the production of cerumen. If the client does not do this, it is asking for trouble. But tell them right away that this cleaning is actually very simple
  3. Of course a hearing aid must dry after cleaning. Your client will understand that. But… does your client know that there are wonderful electronic drying boxes or drying cups for that with drying tablets and that these are suitable for any hearing aid?
  4. Talk about ‘The New Cleaning’ too.
We are convinced that this is going to be the new standard and that's a good thing because... convenience serves man. Technical innovations have resulted in very handy products that have made cleaning (and maintenance) a lot easier.
  5. Oh right… we said it before in this blog: ‘To govern is to foresee’. Because if you have a good conversation with your customer, talk about A.Vogel products. These also make an essential contribution to the welfare of the consumer: man maintains himself!

We wish you good luck and enjoyment in that good conversation. You can count on an even more satisfied customer becoming an even better ambassador for your store. The funny paradox: the customer becomes that ideal ambassador while visiting the store much less often.

Where a good consultation on effective cleaning and smart maintenance can lead! Yes, to govern is to foresee!
