Bone conduction
What is bone conduction? Bone conduction is an innovative technology in which sound does not find its way to the inner ear the traditional way through the auricle, but through the cheekbones. Small vibrations are transported via the cheekbone to the eardrum. Next, these sound vibrations are transmitted to the cochlea where the conversion of sound vibrations to nerve impulses takes place. These nerve impulses are then transmitted back to our brain through which we experience sound.
