Heat:
By using heat in the Dry & Store, moisture, from the hearing aid, will evaporate. The temperature in the Dry & Store is warm, but never too hot; this is to prevent damage to the hearing aid.
Circulating Air:
To get moisture out of hearing aids properly, warm air alone is not enough.
Dry & Store circulates the heated air, this will remove moisture faster and more effectively from "all parts" of the hearing aids, earmolds or receivers.
Dry Brik II:
The moisture removed from the hearing aids must not re-enter the device. For this purpose, a special moisture-absorbing material has been developed that attracts and then encapsulates the moisture molecules.
UV Lamp:
The Dry & Store Global features a highly effective UV lamp that kills 99.9% of the bacteria often responsible for itching, irritation, inflammation, et cetera, in the ear canal. The UV lamp does its job in the first 90 sec of the drying cycle.
